A cable car traverses 4km up the hill from Joshimath, transporting you over the tops of oak and fir trees to Auli. Other options in Auli are the GMVN skiing and tourist Resort and the Royal Village Auli Resort. The two resorts are your only meal options. The food at Cliff Top is good. There are no bars nearby.

If you are planning for shopping in Auli then it is not very much interesting as there are very less options. Limited shop only where you don’t find much interesting as it is the place which has fun, adventure, rarely people comes here think to go for shopping! But if you are also planning for Joshimath, there you find many places shopping blankets, shawls, caps, scarf, sweaters and many other things.
